A brand new Halo TV series is to land on March 22. This highly anticipated show will be available via Paramount+ (Plus) streaming service and feature the silver timeline. The Halo franchise dates back to 2001, when they smashed the gaming walls with a cinematic first-person shooter with graphics that could do the story justice.
While not the first of its kind, the video game helped revolutionize how people made games. Players are saving humanity from the alien threat. You are no longer mindlessly shooting the bad guy.
The TV series will feature deeply drawn personal stories. Showtime initially set the release for last year, but the dumpster fire that was 2020 pushed the Halo series back until the first quarter of 2022. The release date of March 22 is just within their projected date, and I, for one, am so glad they were able to make it.

Meet the characters
Master Chief – Pablo Schreiber
I would love to see the moment that John becomes Master Chief. The child in the trailer is a little treat as to an origin story for the Spartan.
Cortana and Dr Catherine Halsey – Jen Taylor and Natascha McElhone
While they originally cast Natascha McElhone, Jen Taylor replaced McElhone after the pandemic made it impossible for McElhone to complete the project.
Makee – Charlie Murphy
The new story will also feature an orphan raised by the Covenant. In this raised by wolves situation, feelings are mutual regarding her sentiments about humanity with those that nurtured her.
Other Spartans
We see new faces: Soren-006 played by Bokeem Woodbine, Kai-125 played by Kate Kennedy, and Riz-028 played by Natasha Culzac.
The war with the Covenant and Office of Naval Intelligence should feature heavily in the TV series with Danny Sapani as Captain Jacob Keyes and Shabana Azmi as Admiral Margaret Parangosky.
Halo TV Show Off to a rocky start
Some fans are hoping for the gritty history of the Spartans in all its dark glory, complete with flash-grown clones. Their richly imagined vision will come to screens for at least one season. Kyle Killen leaving might have been a bad omen for Master Chief’s future, but Steven Kane has stayed on for this one season. Amblin Entertainment, led by Steven Spielberg, 343 Industries, and Chapter Eleven, brings us the series we’ve been waiting for featuring Silver Team.
