After being spotted with the cast and director out and about in Austrialia, Deadline is now reporting Russell Crowe has joined Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love and Thunder in an undisclosed role.
Crowe joins an already star studded cast that includes not only mainstays Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman but now includes Christian Bale, Matt Damon, Melissa McCarthy, Tessa Thompson and the popular Guardians of the Galaxy.
It’s sounds like Crowe’s role is nothing more than a cameo and could be something that falls in line with Damon and McCarthy’s role in the film in which they play actors playing out the events of the previous Thor movies for an audience of Asgardians.
Taika Waititi is currently directing Thor: Love and Thunder which is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2022
